Yawaras/Koppos/Kogas

The yawaras, koppos, and kogas are similar to kubotans in many respects but are slightly different as well. These self defense items can be used to strike at bony areas of the body such as shins, forearms, and hands. You can also use yawaras, koppos, and kogas effectively by poking at soft tissue areas such as the solar plexus, groin, or lower back. You can also use yawaras, koppos, and kogas against areas that have many nerve endings.
