Shipping Policy -- (MIS)

We do not ship to any location outside of the United States and Canada.

Please provide a physical address for all shipments.

Knives and self defense weapons are not sold to anyone under 18 years old.

Stun Weapons CANNOT be shipped to New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Hawaii or the city of Philadelphia. We cannot ship stun guns outside the United States.

Pepper Sprays CANNOT be shipped to New York, Massachusettes, Wisconsin, or Canada.

Pepper Sprays CANNOT be shipped by any method other than GROUND.

Hidden Cameras and CCTV Systems usually require three to five days to ship. These items may need to be custom-assembled, configured, double-checked, and/or quality-control tested before shipping.

FREE SHIPPING, via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, if your order is over $90.00. (This doesn't apply to orders outside the Continental US).

Under normal circumstances, MOST United States orders are shipped either the same day or within a couple of business days (1-3 business days is normal). This does not include weekends or holidays. During the Christmas holiday season our shipping times are usually 2-4 business days due to increased volume. About 98% of our orders ship out that fast. However, sometimes we run out of something. Our website generally does not reflect out of stock items if we are expecting them to come in from our suppliers within about a week. We consider this to be an IN STOCK item if it is in route to our warehouse. If we anticipate not having an item for more than a week, we generally show that item as Out of Stock on the site. We do the best we can with this, but with over 3,000 items in our warehouse, it is not a perfect science. If we see there will be a delay in your order, we will contact you regarding this.

Further, if the shipping address differs from the billing address, your order may be delayed to give us time to contact your credit card issuing bank.

USPS (United States Postal Service) and UPS (United Parcel Service) are our shipping carriers of choice. Since we have a flat rate shipping fee, the method used to ship your order is left up to our discretion. If your order is under 1 LB. we usually ship First Class through USPS depending on the size of the package. Usually, for packages between 1 and 3 pounds, we will ship via USPS Priority Mail. For heavier packages, we will use UPS or FedEx. We do not refund postage if it is less, but in some circumstances, we will need to collect additional postage for some very heavy packages. This is left up to our discretion. We will contact you if we need to collect additional postage for oversized, extra-heavy packages, or packages going to areas that require additional expense.

Ground shipping is $7.95 and will be automatically added to your total at checkout for those orders under $90.00.

If you are a customer with an order going to Alaska, Hawaii or US Territories, actual shipping costs will be emailed to you for your approval if they are over $15.00. We send orders via USPS if they are going to Alaska, Hawaii, or US Territories.

You may upgrade your delivery method for a small fee.

Upgrading to expedited shipping does not decrease the time it takes for your order to leave the warehouse. It only decreases the transit time. Orders still ship in 1-3 days depending on current warehouse volumes.

Fees for upgraded shipping are:

The above rates are ONLY ESTIMATES for the cost of shipping a standard 1 Pound Box. If the shipping charges are higher, we'll need to charge whatever the actual shipping charges happen to be. The estimated amount you pay at checkout will be applied to the actual charges.

When you select this method of delivery, you are thereby agreeing to pay additional shipping charges, if applicable. However, we don't store credit card information so we will need to contact you when we get the package weighed out so you can approve any additional charges. If you are unavailable or we can't contact you regarding additional charges, we will downgrade your shipping to the next least expensive expedited method and refund the difference if there is any.

For instance, you choose Next Day Air and pay the 65.00 estimated charge for a 1 LB box at checkout. We get your package ready to ship and UPS wants to charge 80.00 for that package. We will attempt to contact you about this. If we can't reach you, we will just send it 2nd Day Air or 3-Day Select and refund the difference, if any. That way, since we were unable to contact you on the day we ship you would lose a day when you contact us the next day to approve the additional shipping anyway. Rather than lose that day, we feel this is the best way to handle that situation.

There may be rare instances when your order contains several items and we may be out of stock temporarily on part of your order. In that case, we may have to ship your order in two packages, only one of which will be sent via the expedited method you requested. Any backordered items will be sent via Ground when they come in. We have thousands of products and only list an item as out of stock on our site if it is expected to arrive at the warehouse in more than a week. Generally, we notify you of any items on backorder when you choose an expedited method of shipping and give you the options available at that time.

An email shipment confirmation will be sent by the next business day after shipment. This confirmation will provide your tracking number or delivery confirmation number.

If you place your order by mail, phone, or fax, and do not wish to provide your email address, we'd be happy to provide your tracking number or delivery confirmation number for you.

Regarding Canadian Orders
Orders being shipped to Canada will be charged a flat fee of 28.95 for shipping via USPS. There may be customs duties for you to pay at your end due to local jurisdiction taxes and duties regulations. Items not manufactured in the US, require payment of a tax on the receiving end. This is the customer's responsibility to pay these added taxes and duties. Any fees for shipping collected by MIS are only for getting the package to your destination. Further, MIS will not be responsible for refunding or replacing any amounts for items confiscated by US or Canadian Customs. We will not ship items that we know are illegal in Canada. However, there may be instances where customs officials confiscate an item without any way for us to have had anticipated this happening in advance.

Our 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed return policy is simple and easy - if you're unhappy with something you bought from us...return it within 90 days of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price. Product must be returned in PERFECT condition to qualify for a return. This does not apply to all items, but most of them. See below for exceptions.

About Returns:

Refunds are fully contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it.

We do not pay for or refund shipping charges on items being permanently returned.

All returns must be authorized by before product(s) is returned.

Pepper spray CANNOT be returned if the package has been opened or tampered with.

Self Defense Instructional Videos CANNOT be returned for a refund. You may return these items for replacement only.

Crossbows can only be returned if defective or unopened. Exchange only if defective. Full refund if unopened within first 30 days of purchase. 60-day defect warranty. 50 LB Crossbows are sold with NO WARRANTY.

Throwing Knives can only be returned if unopened. Throwing knives are sold with NO WARRANTY. Too many people wanted to throw them at concrete walls, break them and try to get a refund.

Hidden Cameras - All of our hidden nanny cameras are special order items and are NOT subject to cancellations or returns. Due to the nature of this product line, returns for hidden nanny cameras will only be accepted if the camera has a manufacturer's defect, or if it is damaged upon shipment to the customer. In which case the product will be repaired or replaced, and shipped back to the customer. 360 day defect warranty.

CCTV Electronic Equipment Including Cameras and Camera Related Products - No returns allowed. All sales final.

Voice Recording Equipment - No returns allowed. All sales final.

Electronic Spy Equipment - No returns allowed. All sales final.

Listening Devices - No returns allowed. All sales final.

GPS Tracking Units - No returns allowed. All sales final.

Software - No returns allowed. All sales final.

Lock Picks - No returns allowed. All sales final.

Books - No returns allowed. All sales final.

Stun Guns and Tasers - Exchange Only. No returns accepted. Taser RMAs are handled by the manufacturer.

Bug Detectors - Due to the nature of bug detectors they cannot be returned unless defective. These items are replaceable only. No refunds. We have had customers use these to scan for bugs and then send them back. These are meant to be used periodically to keep your environment free of electronic surveillance devices.

Special Orders - No refunds. No cancellations. Payment must be made before the order is processed.

All packages refused by customers upon delivery, without prior written consent, will be charged the lesser of $7.95 or the actual shipping cost for return shipping.

If you did not give your full or correct address when placing your order and the package is returned to us, you will be charged the lesser of $7.95 or the actual cost of shipping to send the package back to you.

IMPORTANT - You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to If you want to return it, you must pay for shipping the item yourself, unless the item is deemed both defective and under warranty. The product(s) must be returned in resalable condition with all original packaging, accessories and accompanying literature. If we receive your product without the aforementioned items, you will not get a refund or in store credit. Basically, you must return the item in NEW condition, just like we sent it to you.

If you lost something that goes with your order, you can not return it.

If you send us a return that is not complete, you will not receive a refund.

We do not offer refunds until we have first sent a replacement of your original order.

Note:  Warranty will be voided and returns will not be honored if a product has been abused or tampered with. This includes, but is not limited to, taking a product apart to attempt to fix it. All returns will be inspected upon receipt. Credits and/or Replacements will be issued after the return is processed. has sole discretion to determine whether to accept an item back as a return or not. Customers do not determine whether a return is acceptable or not.

Restocking Fee

There is a 30% restocking fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. This restocking fee is applied only in the instance that we agree to accept your return. You will be reimbursed the cost of your item less 30%. We do not reimburse ANY shipping cost that was paid either by you or by us. The reason for the restocking fee is simple. We only sell brand new unopened products. Returned products that have been opened, can only subsequently be sold as used items at a deep discount, or used as demos. We have enough demos. Therefore, all returned items that we accept must be in PERFECTLY NEW condition.

The Return Process, step-by-step:

All returns must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Packages from customers that do not follow this process will be refused and sent back to the customer at the customer's expense. Please contact us by e-mail or call 1-877-212-7569 for an RMA number.

In your initial correspondence, please provide the following information::

Order Number; Your Name; Shipping address of customer; Items that you are requesting an RMA number for; Reason for return; and Specify whether you want a replacement or refund.

If we approve your return, we will issue you an RMA number which will be logged in the comments of your original order for internal use and we will either tell you the RMA number or email it to you so you can attach it to your package. This number must be either written on the package or included on the label of the package. In either case, it MUST BE written on the box somewhere so your return will be routed to the Returns Department. Packages that we receive that do not have an RMA number on them will be refused and returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Please send your return via United States Postal Service since this method is easily tracked. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the return gets to our warehouse and is processed as a return. is not responsible for packages that get lost or damaged in transit during the return process. And, we accept no liability for any items lost or damaged during the return process. This is why you should insure your package.

The RMA number must be included on the shipping label or written on the outside of the box to ensure proper processing as a return.

Returns must be postmarked within 90 days of delivery date on file with If you are unsure of your delivery date, put your tracking number that we emailed you into the tracking mechanism at the shipper's website and you can confirm it.

Packages that do not have an RMA number written on the outside of the box will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Refunds are issued to the credit card used for the original purchase.

Return Situations generously pays shipping on orders that are over $90.00. It is free to you in this instance, this does not mean that the shipping was free. This just means that we did not charge you for shipping products to you. The cost of shipping your order to you, whether you paid for shipping or not, will be deducted from any refund given, unless the product is deemed defective within the first 90 days.

For example, if your order was $70.00 plus $7.95 shipping, your refund will be the cost of the item which is $70.00. However, if your order was $120.00, which qualifies for free shipping, and you return your order for a refund, your refund amount will be $112.05. ($120.00 minus $7.95 shipping on most orders - However, the actual cost of shipping your order may have be more than that, depending on the weight of the package).

Returns accepted and/or received after 30 days will receive an exchange or in store credit only.

Defective item, still under warranty

If a product is being exchanged due to a manufacturer's defect, we will exchange that product for you and you will NOT be charged for shipping it back to you.

We do not offer refunds until we have first sent a replacement of your original order.

If you are unhappy with your order, or you made a mistake on the order.

If you are exchanging a product due to wrong product ordered, wrong size, wrong color, wrong type, etc., or, because you are not satisfied with the product, you will be charged our standard shipping cost of $7.95 for Ground Shipping to have the exchanged product shipped back to you. (If you wish to upgrade shipping method, you will be charged for the upgraded shipping cost - see our shipping policy for those costs.

If we made a mistake on the order -- sent a wrong item or quantity.

If we made a mistake on your order, we will reimburse you the cost of shipping your order back to us via Ground or Standard only. No Overnight or Express methods will be reimbursed. We will reship your order the same way we shipped it to you initially at no additional charge. This is fair for all parties concerned.

Cancellation Policy -- (MIS)

Orders that are cancelled prior to shipment are subject to a $9.95 processing fee.

Special Orders cannot be cancelled.

If you file a chargeback with your credit card company for any reason, we get charged a fee for that. The fee is $40 to you. We will pass that charge along to you during any subsequent collection on your invoice. If we have to hire a collection agency, to collect from you, you will be responsible for any of those fees as well. Further, if there are any arbitration procedures or legal procedures during any collection process, we are entitled to collect those fees as well. In addition, we may, at our discretion, also report you to the credit reporting agencies as a delinquent debt.
