The Black Shallot is another knife in the Ken Onion series. It features the SpeedSafe assisted opening system that pops open with a flip of the index release. The recurve blade uses Sandvik 13C26, which has a Tungsten DLC (diamond like carbon) coating. The blade locks using Hawk-Lock, and the handle also has a Tungsten DLC coating.
