Fox OC Pepper Sprays

Fox Labs carries two major lines of fox oc pepper sprays. There is the Five Point Three Law Enforcement Line, which is one of the hottest pepper sprays on the market. Fox Labs has spent decades developing the hottest possible pepper spray with the lowest resin percentage. This creates a high quality and fast acting pepper spray.

Fox Labs Pepper Spray is the hottest pepper spray used by Police and Military Worldwide and is now available to the public. Most pepper sprays are between 1/2 million to 2 million Scoville heat units (SHU); however, fox oc pepper sprays are refined to 5.3 million Scoville heat units. These law enforcement pepper sprays are formulated to be the safest, hottest and most effective you can buy! Our fox oc pepper sprays are non-flammable, Taser-safe, and emit a medium cone-fog spray. Upon close inspection, you will find that only the highest quality materials and components are used in manufacturing.

These law enforcement pepper sprays use organic pepper resins that have at least a true 2,000,000 Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) rating. Fox Labs was the first company to use resins with this intense rating in a 5% product and these formulas are still unsurpassed! In 1998, they became the first and only company offering a true 5.3 million SHU resin in a 2% solution. Additionally, the word ‘true’ is very important, because some companies have their own systems of heat measurement, or they are not even using organic resins, but rather something called PAVA, which is artificial OC, and not nearly as effective as the real stuff. What that means to you, specifically, is that they may say their law enforcement pepper sprays have the same intensity as FOX, but in reality they are far weaker, and less likely to afford you the same kind of results when you need them.

The other line that Fox Labs developed is the Mean Green H2OC Line. It utilizes a bright green dye extracted from plants that will dye the skin of perpetrators for days after being sprayed. This aids in identification and apprehending suspects.

Although Fox Labs has been promoting higher SHU’s in lower percentages for over a decade, Mean Green fox oc pepper sprays use a higher percentage of a lower SHU. The new resin in the formula must be refined to a clear color, resulting in a lower SHU rating. However, it is still much, much purer than the resins used by other companies and it is still going to have very fast-acting, and reliable stopping power. This new resin is actually purer than the resin Fox Labs uses in their legendary "Five Point Three" Law Enforcement formulas. Even though FOX LABS is using a 6% concentration of their three million SHU pepper resin in Mean Green pepper sprays, it cannot have the same problem that exists with all of the other defense spray products that use higher percentages of lower grade resins. Because for over 15 years FOX LABS has been proving that putting superior ingredients into the formula results in superior stopping power when it comes out of the nozzle.

It was determined that a 6% OC would give the fox oc pepper sprays the perfect balance of safety and stopping power, just like all of our other world famous formulas, while still using a lower percentage of OC in the formula than other brands. This is because a higher percentage of resin can actually delay reaction time, and it certainly makes decontamination a longer process.
